Extraordinary painter. Resided with his parents for 9 years in Zaïre. Arrived in Belgium in the early sixties, but could not adapt to society and joined the hippy movement. He discovered painting during a short photography program in the St. Lucas school in Schaarbeek (Brussels). His art is raw and poetical at the same time. Press reviews call the first encounter with his art "very chaotic at first. The viewer is overwhelmed by the very whirling and colourful movement of his compositions. The subjects of this visionary artist stand for his obsessions: naked women within fantastic imaginary constructions." and "His paintings come to life on impulse and they are literally a mirror of his whirling emotions."
