Jan Sierhuis (1928) is a name. A name in the international art world. This expressionist Amsterdam has been exhibited worldwide. He was involved in the Experimentalists (1947) and was Appel, Corneille and Lucebert one of the most important postwar artists. He worked at home and abroad, but remained the Amsterdam artist. In Spain he developed his passion for flamenco, a subject which is still returns in its vital work. Every day Jan Sierhuis is active in his studio.
